Ben Farley - Chef, Director and Founder

Ben is a highly regarded and enthusiastic chef with over 19 year's commercial

experience in both high profile local restaurants such as Bilson's and International Michelin Star establishments such as the Mirabelle in Mayfair, London. Ben also teaches the chefs of the future at Ryde Tafe and put together Bar-Be School to share his knowledge and

passion for food and entertaining.

Jason Hannah - Chef & Operations Manager

Jason is a highly experienced and talented chef having mastered his trade in restaurants such as The Pier in Rose Bay, Four in Hand in Paddington plus The avenue Restaurant in London. Jason also works closely with the chefs of tomorrow via his commitments to the Tafe students at Ryde College who benefit from his experience. Jason is a founding member of the Bar-Be School Team and his excellence with food has been shared by thousands of attendee's over the years.

Martina Bohynikova - Office Manager / PA to Managing Director

Martina is the newest member of our team and is the key to all that we do at Bar-Be School. Martina is the friendly voice that greets you when you contact Bar-Be School and loves ensuring you have the best day at your event or class when booking. Her passion for great events will ensure you leave your clients with a great taste in their mouth without lifting a finger.

Mark Haygarph - Chef Presenter Brisbane & Gold Coast

Mark has been a Chef for 18 years and gained the skills of his trade working all over Australia in 5 Star Hotels and Resorts to much acclaim. He has also consulted his experience to numerous restaurants and enjoys sharing his love of great food with our attendee's at the classes.

 

Gerard d'Ombrille - Chef Presenter Sydney

Gerard has been a Chef for 16 years having mastered his craft at Bocca, and Head Chef at Hugo’s and Executive Chef at Amankila – a 6 star resort in Bali. Gerard moved back to Sydney in early 2010 and has been delighting students at Bar-Be school ever since.

 

 

James McCarthy - Chef Presenter Melbourne

James has been a very keen food enthusiast for over 25 years having worked in leading restaurant around Australia. He now spends the majority of her time with the Chefs of the Future at Tafe in Melbourne CBD. James is a highly regarded chef who brings a fresh approach to the BBQ Masters of Melbourne and loves to share his knowledge and passion for food and entertaining at our classes.

Corinne Coleman - Chef Presenter Sydney

Corinne loves to study the art of cooking to continually upgrade her skills of culinary perfection which she shares with our many customers at the classes. She has 7 years of high level experience in the industry. Corinne’s creativity with healthy dishes and understanding of quality food brings a fun enthusiastic edge to all her classes.

 

Eloise Fay - Events Team Brisbane

Eloise has been a key part of our Brisbane team since 2009 and is the key to ensuring our classes and events are all organised! She is a keen foodie having worked in the hospitality industry for the past 6 years in front of house and restaurant management. Eloise certainly has many talents and her ability to host and cater to our customers is definitely her showpiece.
